Angus Hyland is a renowned artist, graphic designer, author and creative director. A partner at the legendary design studio Pentagram, Angus has designed brand identities for clients including Penguin and the Crafts Council. As creative director, clients include Cass Art, Thames & Hudson and Laurence King Publishing, for whom he has written twelve books on art and design.

His exhibition of work on paper and canvas ‘Looking for a certain ratio’ was first shown at the Cass Art Space in Glasgow, and made its London debut at the ‘Design House’ group show alongside designer-makers including Jasper Morrison and Sebastian Wrong.

In 2023 ‘Bags of Art and Design’, Angus’ collection of sustainable tote bags created as part of a collaboration between Pentagram, Cass Art and Bags of Ethics launched as part of the 21st London Design Festival.
