Blink : Yellow

Nigel Hall RA is a renowned English sculptor and draughtsman. He was born in Bristol in 1943 and studied at the West of England College of Art and the Royal College of Art in London.

Hall is known for his large-scale, minimalist sculptures, often constructed from tubular aluminium. His work explores the relationship between form and space, and the way in which sculpture can interact with its environment. He is also a skilled draughtsman, and his drawings often serve as studies for his sculptures.

Hall has exhibited his work extensively in the UK and internationally. He was elected a Royal Academician in 2003 and has been awarded an Honorary Doctorate from the University of the Arts London.
